Mi permetto di dire che questo eccellente album NON è semplice psichedelia ma è una psichedelia influenzata dal progressive!!!!!!!!!! Peccato DAVVERO che la FORT MUDGE MEMORIAL DUMP non abbia continuato il percorso artistico musicale!!!!!!!! Potevano ancora realizzare dei brani interessanti creativi come vi sono in questo album!!!!!!!! Purtroppo l' unico della band!!!!!!! Nel disco ci sono due vocalist una femminile e uno maschile e si alternano fra dì loro!!!!!! Strumentalmente assai preparati a livello tecnico. Vengono da BOSTON, USA.... . Infatti posso dire che la loro proposta musicale... NON è così tipicamente USA come altre bands del periodo....ma si contamina anche con le sonorità anglosassoni!!!!!!!! E infatti secondo me la risultante è un sound Psych prog, o Prog Psych!!!!!!!!!! In questo album c'è DAVVERO dell' ottima musica per NIENTE scontata...anzi con idee anche piuttosto originali 👍👏👍👏!!!!!!!!

one of the best songs ever written. don mclean at his best. all the song leads to the amazing and horify line which is the essence of the song " for thouh the father sets the price the children pay the cost"

What a lovely “heightened pop” track (which actually approaches more it’s cousin style, the UK-centric “progressive” movement of the late ‘60s before it coalesced into “prog rock”).

Putting something like this out in 1970 was totally giving the finger to the hippies. Greatness.

OMG I saw them so many times at the Original Electric Factory and The Spectrum and recently downloaded this album. Still love many of their songs especially The Frankfort El.

When I was young, I saw this album in a music shop in Toronto. I had no idea who the band was. The album cover just spoke to me, it said buy me. This album was the catalyst that changed my entire view of music and what it really means, it was one of the best uninformed purchases of my life.

Novella/Unsolicited Review Time!🎉 First part reminds me of Blondie "Call Me" maybe Debbie Harry picked this one up in her 60s hippy phase (she was already a singer, too)\. Cool song, love the hypnotic plodding baseline and the Donovan-esque vibrato on "when I talk to her-er-er" and the Blue Cheer/Doors hybrid breakdown and heavy part (one part is ripped straight from Five To One lol) I love ALL of this btw 😄 (and in one song!) It's been on one of my playlists for ages but I have so many so full I tend to lose things for years at a time. The visuals fit it perfectly, as well. Great share!
